Tag Brush

For this project, I wanted to incorporate the colors of the Filipino flag in an abstract way. In addition, I wanted to give off a graffiti vibe.

The colors of the flag are incorporated by using the brush tool for each color. The sprays and scratches were pretty useful in creating more of a graffiti- like look.

  1. Feedback:
    1. I like the colors you used.
I also like your logo I think its cool and effective.
    2. .I would suggest maybe lightening the brush so it doesn't have such harsh effects so quickly, it could be gradual.
I think the position of the colors are a bit distracting and hard on the eye.
    3. Love the playing card concept.

  2. I love your tag brush. I think the colors and the design of a playing card make this design very successful. The spray paint was definitely the right way to go. I think the only piece of advice I can give you is to maybe choose some colors that are a bit more contrasting. Your eyes kinda get lost in the lower one.

  3. Blake, I love your tag brush; it makes your logo pop. Also, it fits the style and composition. However, for the bottom one, It gives it a 3D appearance. I would try to overlap the different colors more!

  4. I think I mentioned this to you before, but I love the logo! Cards are one of my favorite past times, and I remember you explaining you had a lot of meaning behind the planning process for it, which is great!
Love the colors you chose for the tag brush and I think the border works well with the design. If I had any comments, it may be to make the grey rim a little softer and larger on the edge? Other than that, I think this is awesome!

    1. Love to share the playing cards hobby Michaela! I think this project turned out to be a little (unintentionally) trippy to the eye. I think the colors work really well together and layer nicely.
